Cynthia Davis
Program Coordinator
Cynthia is the Department of Foreign Languages & Culture’s receptionist/program coordinator. As such, she is the department’s first line of contact and the “go-to” person for questions and information regarding the department. Cynthia processes minors, assists with majors, does travel reimbursements for faculty, processes time-slip payroll, faculty leave reports, and student evaluations, and does a variety of other office work to keep the office running smoothly.
Cynthia is a Pullman area native. While attending college at WSU she worked part-time at Ferdinand’s—she remembers when a can of Cougar Gold cost $3.15 (with tax). After graduation in 1974 she started working in the then Staff Personnel Department and later the Dean of Students Office. She left WSU in 1976 moving to Missoula, Montana and later Spokane, Washington. In 1994 Cynthia came back home to WSU and the Department of Foreign Languages & Cultures…where she has been since. Cynthia has two sons, Preston and Brandon, who have both graduated from WSU.
