Carlos is from Valencia (Spain), where he started his bachelor in Labor Law and Human Resources studies at University of Valencia in 2000, and finished them in 2004 at University of Siena (Italy). Back in Spain he got his Teacher Certification in April 2005. He came to the United States in 2006 and continued his studies at Washington State University where he received his Master's Degree in Foreign Languages and Cultures, emphasis in Spanish Literature in May 2008. Carlos has presented his research at national conferences, including a paper entitled "Ernesto, Alberto y la Poderosa; El diario del 'Che' at the CINE-LIT conference at Portland State University in 2007. He has also presented the paper "Les falles; Dont be afraid to make mistakes" at the Washington Association of Foreign Language Teachers Spring Conference, here at WSU. Now he is working on publishing his paper "Música para la Generación del 27" in the Alberto Ginastera Archival Collection at the Dallas Public Library.

Carlos has played music since he was 9 years old. He plays Oboe and English Horn, and has been soloist with both instruments with different groups in Spain and the Washington State University Symphony.

Carlos es de Valencia (España). En 2000 comenzó Relaciones Laborales en la Universitat de València, carrera que terminó en 2004 en la Università degli Studi di Siena (Italia). Volvió a España y en abril de 2005 terminó el Curso de Capacitación Pedagógica para enseñanza secundaria. En 2006 vino a Estados Unidos para continuar sus estudios en Washington State University. En mayo de 2008 obtuvo el grado de master en lenguas y culturas extrajeras, especialidad en literatura española. Carlos ha presentado parte de su investigación en conferencias internacionales, incluyendo su trabajo titulado "Ernesto, Alberto y la Poderosa; El diario del 'Che'" en CINE-LIT, Universidad del estado de Portland en 2007. También ha presentado su trabajo "Les falles; Dont be afraid to make mistakes" en la Washington Association of Foreign Language Teachers Spring Conference, aquí en WSU. Ahora está trabajando en la publicación de su trabajo "Música para la Generación del 27" en el Archivo que la Biblioteca pública de Dallas mantiene como tributo a la obra del compositor argentino Alberto Ginastera.

Carlos es músico amateur desde los 9 años. Toca el oboe y el corno inglés y ha sido solista con ambos instrumentos en diferentes bandas, incluyendo la Sociedad Musical "La Armónica" de San Antonio (Valencia, España) donde está federado y la Orquesta Sinfónica de Washington State University.
