Guide to Burning CD-ROMs in Nero Burning Program.

1. Click on the Nero Icon on the desktop. This will open the program. The first window that appears will ask you whether you want to copy files on to a CD from another CD or from existing files on the computer. For course related audio resourcers select Compile New CD. Press next.

2. The next window will ask you what type of format you would like to burn in. The resource files for the Courses are in MP3 format, and although they are music files they are considered to be data when you're burning them onto CDs. Choose Data CD. Press next.

3.The next screen will ask if you want to create a new CD or burn more data onto an existing CD. Choose Create new CD. Then press next.

4. Press Finish when the next screen appears.

5. When the wizard closes you will begin choosing which files will be copied onto the CD. Under the File Browser window on the right side are the language files. Depending on which language and lesson the student requests you will navigate into the LLRC-MP3 folder. In this folder is a series of sub-folders that contain the materials for each course.
Once you have located the files needed simply click and drag them over to the left side into the blank column. This will tell the computer that those are the files that you want to burn onto the CD.
After you have moved all the files you want to burn over the burn button will turn red. It is located on the third set of buttons from the right at the top of the screen, on the left side of those buttons. By pressing  that button you will begin the burn process. Once you have started it do not stop it!  The CD will be ruined if you stop in the middle of the process.
