Steps:
1. Turn on the VCR and the monitor.
2. Press the menu button, located on the lower right
side of the unit.
3. This will bring up the menu. Screen one will come
up; press the menu button again to get to the features menu. Depending on
what you want to adjust you will move from here.

4. The most common issue encountered when recording
videos is the speed at which they are read or written. To get to the menu
that allows you to adjust this select the tuner setup menu. This brings you
to the "deck one menu."

5. To scroll through the options on the menu press
the select button. To change a setting press the change button.
6. If you want to adjust the settings for the second
deck of the VCR press the menu button again. It will say "deck two menu" at
the top. You change the settings for deck two the same way that they are
changed for the first deck.
Note: The tape length needs to be equal on both videos. If
you have a movie that is two hours long and only have a one hour long tape
to record onto then you will have to set the record speed lower. This will
also lower the quality of the movie on the new tape. SP is regular speed. EP
is Extended play and will allow more of the movie to be put on the
tape but will reduce the quality.
