Where are my attachments?

A: Outlook keeps attachments together with your email in your personal .pst mailbox file. Differently from Eudora, attachments are not directly accessible as standalone files. To access email attachments with Outlook you can either open them directly from within the email, or save a copy of the attachment from within the email (right-click, save-as on the attachment). There are also third-party programs available that will allow you to separate attachments from the email and save them into a folder of your choice, thereby (supposedly) reducing the size of your email files.
