Gustavo Vargas
Graduate Student - Spanish
About me
I am originally from San Jose, Costa Rica, and will pursue my master’s degree in Spanish Literature at WSU. I am convinced that the study of literature can provide us with an invaluable opportunity to know different cultures, societies and languages, but most importantly it can give some insight for understanding ourselves and our everyday relationships with people. Spanish is a really fascinating language and its study can be fun and challenging. In my free time, I love hanging out with friends and watching good movies. Also, I always enjoy exploring the natural beauties of Colorado and Costa Rica (two breathtaking, yet dissimilar places).
