Lisa McMullen
Budget & Finance Manager
Lisa is the primary contact for matters relating to personnel, payroll, purchasing, facilities, space & equipment, budget & finance, accounting, office administration, and alumni/donor records & activities. She assists the Chair of the Department with special projects and the implementation of University, College, and Department policies and procedures.
Ms. McMullen holds a MBA for Business, Government and Not-for-Profit Management in Public Sector Human Resources from Willamette University Atkinson Graduate School of Management and a BA cum laude from Washington State University in Business Administration.
Since coming to WSU in 1979, she has worked in the Psychology Dept., the Child, Family & Consumer Studies Dept., the School of Music & Theatre Arts, and the Foreign Languages Dept. She was an active member of the WSU Training Committee and the President's Commission on the Status of Women. Her extensive work with the WSU Staff Senate included serving as Executive Vice President, Senator, Chair of the Bylaws Committee, Chair of the Employee Relations/Conflict Resolution Committee, Chair of the Ethics Committee, contributing author for Senate Newsletters and Commission Reports, and design and publication of the 1992 WSU All Staff Employee Climate Survey. She has been actively involved with Bargaining Unit #10 (supervisory classified employees) and was a co-author and negotiating team member for their initial collective bargaining agreement. Ms. McMullen also serves on appointment with the College of Liberal Arts as the College Employee Relations Manager.
